The network storage consists of an HDD enclosure and an HDD of which capacity is selected depending on customers' need. It is a central, simple and secure network storage with no IP configuration or server required. It can be used as a storage for many network cameras, network A/V servers, etc. CryptoTelecom's S-3838 based network cameras support this network storage. A network storage and many network cameras can be used in stead of a DVR and many analog cameras. Unlike the DVR system, unlimited number of network cameras can share a network storage to record their videos. According to customers' need, he can increase network cameras incrementally. So, it is very scalable and flexible and its cost performance is better than that of the DVR system.
กแ General Configuration for Network Storage & Network Cameras
Many network cameras and a network storage can be connected as follows.
Videos of any network cameras are recorded into the network storage at the same time without any help of any computer just like the videos of many analog cameras are recorded into a DVR. The network storage can be accessed by a PC via a network camera because the network storage looks like a internal HDD of the network camera. Also, a PC on the same network with the network storage can access to the network storage directly just like the PC access to its local HDD.
